A woman, her partner and their pet dog were found dead at a luxury boutique in the South-East of England, it was reported.
The body of Cristian Treschella, 31, was discovered on Tuesday, according to the Bristol Post.
He was a father of two, aged 21 and 23.
Mr Treschello said he was shocked and saddened by the news.
“It is very sad that my partner and my pet dog died of natural causes and we had no idea that they were in a luxury hotel in the middle of the city,” he told the BBC.
“I had a very good relationship with my partner but unfortunately he couldn’t get to work for some reason.”
Mr Tleschella’s body was found in a bedroom of a luxury resort on the outskirts of Bristol on Tuesday morning.
He was found slumped over a bed, with his hands clasped in front of him, and appeared to have suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.
The hotel was open for business at the time, with staff, guests and hotel staff being evacuated, with the hotel owner confirming that the hotel had been the scene of the deaths.
“Our thoughts are with the family of the deceased and their loved ones at this very difficult time,” a statement on the Bristol-based hotel’s website read.
“We would like to thank our loyal Bristol community for their continued support over the past 24 hours.”
A spokeswoman for the British Ambulance Service said it was “currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a patient at the Bristol Marriott Hotel, which is a guest hotel”.
“The British Ambulatory Services team is working closely with our local partner to provide all support available at this time,” she said.
